The BOMAG BMF 2500 S FLEXMIX combines the compact short-chassis design of the BMF 2500 S with active material re-mixing components. During transit and unloading, asphalt can experience thermal cooling along the truck edges or particle size segregation; the FLEXMIX system uses two conical augers in the hopper (and an optional folding mixer on the belt) to continuously blend cold and coarse outer material into the hot core before delivering it to the paver. Delivering up to 4,000 tonnes per hour, it ensures uniform temperature and homogeneous aggregate distribution, resulting in a consistent, highly durable mat without cold spots.
